Does rubbing glass against glass scratch the screen?

For example rubbing the iPhone screen across a glass table. Can it cause scratches on the screen. also can a screen be 100% free from scratches after a few months of use or is that difficult to achieve?

If that glass table contains debris then you run the risk of scratching your iPhone’s display. As for your second question, it is indeed possible for an iPhone’s display to be 100% free from scratches. My current iPhone’s display is free from scratches.

I've had my 6s Plus since September 2015 with no screen protector. No scratches that I know of.
