Do not disturb specific number?

Can I somwhow disable notification messages for specific number without block his number? Only block or hide a messages notification for his number?

Welcome to iMore! You can't disable notifications for a specific contact, but you can for a specific conversation. To do this, open the conversation with that particular contact, tap the (i) in the upper right corner of the screen, then turn on the Do Not Disturb toggle.

I'm not sure if deleting the conversation will cause this setting to default back to OFF.
