Contacts !

Ok, theres probably an answer to this somewhere already, and everybody but me knows it.
Every now and again I'll get a text from a friend asking if I have someone's phone number, if I think that the enquired about party won't mind I'll pass on the number. How can I do this without coming out of Messages and into Contacts, writing the number down and going into Messages again, setting up a reply etc ?
Is there an easy quick way that even I can understand ?

Ok, so usually what I do when I get in a situation like that. I leave the Messages app, go into the Contacts app, open the contact card for the person's number I want to share and if you scroll down you have an option "Share Contact". You tap that option0 and then you have to choose with which app you want to share it with, you choose "Messages" and then at the top you just have to fill the "To:" field with the person's name or phone number you want to send it to. Hope this helps.
