Why won't my iPad update?

why will mu ipad not update

I click on update and install, then I agree the Ts and Cs then I get a pop up that says there is a problem so I cannot install it , or sometimes the screen locks on 'verifying update'

Have you restarted your device? Also, make sure your account information is correct.
