How can I protect my iphone 6 screen?

Right now I have it in a Lifeproof case which has a screen protector. But I am worried about if something got dropped on it that the screen could crack. I had originally bought just a tempered glass screen protector. Would putting that on the phones screen be beneficial in addition to having it in the Lifeproof case? Or might the touch screen not function as well as it should?

Listen, just be careful with what you do with your iPhone. You already have it enclosed in a case and you already have a screen protector on it. Those things provide assistance in protecting your device, but they don't "prevent" the device from damages. Dropping it at the perfect angle will cause it to shatter or crack. I don't care what it's in therefore, just be mindful of what you do with your phone.
