Why has Facebook gone gray on my iPhone 4?

Facebook have gone grey on my I phone 4

Everything else on my phone works normally but facebook have gone grey, and i dont get notifications and i cant post things, and it is baisicly not working. So heres hoping you can help me fix that by explaining me how.

Can you not uninstall the app and then reinstall it to see if that helps?

Also delete the account in settings, then add it back in.
