Why are all my friends on snap gone

So I snapped some of my friends took a nap and 2 hours later I go to reply to a snap and everything is gone

Have you been getting enough sleep and eating regularly? Friends tend to drop off without those .
Bad jokes aside, make sure you are logged into the app. Log out then log back in. If you just upgraded to 16.0 or above, is there a Snap app update? An iPhone reboot can fix almost anything, sometimes.

Otherwise on the Snap app I'd press whatever support link is there. What happened with you may be happening to a subset of users and they may already have a fix or workaround.
