Why am I unable to view my subscribed calendars on all of my devices?

I have subscribed to the RBS 6 Nations Rugby calendar on my iphone and can see that on there.

I have also subscribed ICC Cricket World Cupm Calendar on my ipad and can see that on there.

I had thought they would then be available on the other device and also in iCloud.

Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong please.

Depending what type of calendars they are you may have to subscribe to them on each device. Say for Google calendars, I subscribe to my sons school calendar and now once I login with my gmail account on each device it shows up now.

Log on to your iCloud account on a computer/web browser... are the on iCloud? If they are, then there's a sync issue with the device things are not showing up on...
