Is there any method to keep emails on your iphone (to have an email trail) despite reading them or moving them to a folder on your desktop Outlook program?

When you move an email to a folder on desktop, does it not also go in the folder on your phone? I don't use Outlook much. I'm not sure what it is you want to do. I have 7 email accounts. I sometimes forward an email from one account to another. Create a second email account and forward those emails on your phone, then do what you want with it on desktop.

If it's exchange or IMAP when moved to a folder you should still be able to access them on your iPhone in the folders.
