How do I turn up the volume on my phone to hear incoming calls better?

I am not able to hear properly using I6 of the callers voice or ringing sound..

Whenever I call to somebody or receive a call from somebody, I am not able to hear properly the voice of the other end. It is too low.. how can i improve this...

Assuming of course that the volume won't go higher, you might have a defective unit.
Also make sure that the plastic the phone came with is completely out of the top of the phone....mine had a tiny bit stuck and it made the sound awful.

This may work. When my wife got her 5c 2 years ago, the volume was horrible. She hears extremely well. So I checked it out. Found nothing. Read online about toggling on Hearing Aid Mode for more volume. It made a huge difference in her phone. I did the same on my iP 5. It helped a good bit, but not as much as the 5c. I think it helps my 6s Plus some as well.
