trying to update from 5.1.1 to 7.0.6 4s

ive been trying all moring to update this iphone to 7.0.6 so i can jb it to use it to mirror 1channel & xbmc to my apple tv 3. I keep getting errors. First any software i download gives me the error saying its wrong firmware. Im jb right now so trying to just get the jb out and flash 5.1.1 but keep getting the 3194 error. Changed host and tried a few thing no luck getting ride of it. Restarted the computer and now im getting 4014 error. Got iphone in dfu mode to try and get it updated but no luck. Any tips would be great.

You should stick with iOS 5.1.1 if you want a jailbreak since Apple is only signing iOS 7.1.1 and iOS 8 beta 1. None of which are jailbreakable.

i had m8's phone and it was on 5.1.1. so i upgraded to 6.1.3 (it has to do 6.1.3 before you get to ios7) tru the upgade option in the phone settings then rejailbreak with p0sixspwn. don't do another update because it will goto stright to 7.1.1
