i want my ipad2 to get it charged through my laptop. how do i do it it is not getting charged if i am connecting ipad with the data cabel to my laptop and i lost my original charger and i got a new one which is not working properly so i want ipad to get charged by laptop???

All you have to do if I understand you depending on your iPad using the 30 pin connector, Just hook the USB part to your laptop and the other part to the iPad. It won't charge as fast as if you buy a wall charger and hook the cord to that but it will work.
