Update problem

Installed update on Apple TV a few minutes ago and now remote won’t work. Can not scroll out of tv app or put to sleep. Screen sits there until time out and screen saver comes on. Tried to reset by unplugging, didn’t help. Please help. 4th gen

What happens if you press one of the buttons on the remote?
Also, did you charge the remote, to see if that’s the issue?

Nothing happens. App on I phone and iPad are working. Yes it is charged. Went to settings, remotes and devices and it is not seen, just iPhone and ipad

Never mind. Just found out had to sync again after update
