I've been noticing some lag...

e.g. when u swipe down to bring up search (when the keyboard pops up you can notice the lag)

playing some games did slow down a bit too... strange i didn't think it would have been an issue...

anyone else experiencing any lag?

Hey there!

I also have a mini2, I updated yesterday and honestly haven't had any problems. I've used slide over, picture-over-picture features (not split screen 'cuz it's only available for iPad Air 2 and mini4), Siri, multitastking, almost everything and haven't had any issues so far TBH. Maybe I've noticed a tad of lagging when using spotlight by sliding down from the screen, but don't notice it when using spotlight by sliding to the right.

Hope this helps!

yea.. exactly. the spotlight search does appear to be a bit laggy. but everything else works as usual. only one game i played where it kinda slowed down. but using PIP, and multitasking having two apps open (mini view as opposed to full split - it works fine)

I've noticed some lag on my Mini 3. It's spotlight and sometimes shows up when loading certain apps like Tapatalk or Netflix. I'm on a beta though (9.1).

Sent from my iPad Mini 3 using Tapatalk. 🖖

I've decided to update anyway for the new split screen and so far it seems to be just as fast, if there's lag it's not massive.
