In iMessage my first iMessage I see without scrolling is an older one. Why is that?

In iMessage my first iMessage I see without scrolling is an older one.

I have to scroll down manuley and hold down one finger and than hold down the other and scroll until I see the newest message. Then when I go to the send bar it goes back up. Tried hard resetting. PLEASE HELP

Just delete the conversation. Press on a speech bubble and tap "More". Then tap "Delete all" in the upper left corner. Now start over.
