Gmail Contacts in iPhone not Showing Up?

For those of you with an iPhone and Gmail, how come I can't view my contact's addresses when I am mobile? Only the email/phone shows up? I was able to do this on my android, and when I am on a computer I can still see the addresses in gmail, but I can't figure out how to view them on my phone.

This is really inconvenient when I am on the go and trying to find someone's address. Help!

Are you using the Gmail app or the native mail app on your device? Are your Gmail contacts synced to your device? If you went to Settings-Mail Contacts Calendars-Add Account-Gmail to configure gmail, you may need to follow the instructions HERE to have your gmail contacts sync to your device. Just scroll down to the section "How to setup Gmail contact sync with cardav".
