iExplorer ploblem

I am trying to use iExplorer, and almost every time I try and use it, it crashes when I connect my iPhone 4 to it. The couple times it didn't crash it wouldn't let me access any of the files it had an error that said my limit was reached. I checked the website and it said they know of the problems and to run iTunes and Quick time once before iExplorer, I did that and it still crashes.

So I was wondering if anyone knew how to get it to work or another program I could use.
I just jailbroke my phone and I want to put some ROMs on it.
