will the moves app still calculate steps in airplane mode?

I do not get signal at work so I keep my phone on airplane mode. I was wondering if my "Moves" app will still track my steps in airplane mode?

It appears so, and I think that feature is working for me. I have not put the Watch in Airplane Mode, though. It's just out of Bluetooth range from the iPhone at the gym, but I think this is the same situation as being in Airplane Mode.
