why does " device not supported" show on screen when i try to charge battery

" device not support " started showing up on my screen when I try and charge battery. sometimes it will change and sometimes it wont

Cable is going bad. Try and flip it and see if it works. otherwise you will need a new cable if not sooner then later.

It probably has a short in the cable. Mine do that way. You will need a new cable if you can't move it where it will work.
