Why do apps crash?

Well sometimes I face a couple of bugs with my iphone and Ipad. Like an app crashes and also when I try to unlock the screen. I keep swiping nothing happens -_-

Apps crash sometimes because they may not be fully compatible with the OS or there's some sort of glitch on the back end that causes the app to crash when performing certain tasks or there's not enough space on your device to perform said tasks. There's several reasons for this. As far as your lock screen being unresponsive, try rebooting your device by holding the power & home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears.
