Right, but the question was why are iPhones controversial, not whether digital privacy in the 21st century was controversial. Insert Amazon and the Alexa murder case, or other examples of law enforcement or foreign powers demanding access to digital information, it's not unique to apple. Or unique to the iPhone.
I wasn’t making any claims that any of this was unique to Apple, only citing an example in response to someone stating that Apple has never been involved in controversy.
My first response in this thread states my position regarding the original topic posted in this thread.
