but i still get some bugs like when receiving a new message sometimes an old one is shown in the chats screen and sometimes i get two notifications for one message, the badge count doesn't work correctly,...

Yup. No 3rd party apps will get quick reply like Apple's messages app does. At least until iOS 9. Devs don't get the API to it.

It was more of 6 and 6 plus optimization update.
They will probably be releasing complete overhaul in Dec when formally all the platforms have released new os. ( lollipop is out and bb is 10.3.1 is nearly there).

well it wasn't a big thing for the 6 as it was to the 6+ because the screen of the 6 is smaller and the app didn't scale that much as it did on the 6+.
