What connector do I need?

So I just got a car and its got an aftermarket head unit with an iPod 30 pin connector on it. The thing is that I have an iPhone 5 and as you know uses a different connector. So my question is can I purchase a usb to 30 pin adaptor so I can plug a flash drive with music in it and play it through my speakers? And would it need to be a female USB to 30 pin connector?

Any help would be appreciated!

You need the 30pin to Lightning adapter.
