Walkie Talkie Invites

Hi.

I’m having trouble with invites on walkie talkie. I’m sending them and my friend is also and neither of us are getting them. We have tried everything stated on Apples support page including Restarting both devices etc. Is anyone else having these issues/or found a fix round it?
