New member here, old Iphone 2G owner, presently Blackberry Bold, but going back to Iphone 3g TODAY.
One thing I really like on the Bold, is the different options for alert and volume settings. I dock it at night in sleep mode with the clock face and set it to ring ONLY for phone calls, no calendar, email, or text alerts will sound. And it has different volume settings such as loud, normal and quiet, all customizable. I use the quiet setting at work so as not annoy the BOSS.
I don't remember on the Iphone 2G if there was a way to block alerts from sounding in the middle of the night. What options are on the 3G?
