VLC player, screen keeps turning off / dimming

When using VLC media player from cydia how do I get my screen to stay on while watching media playback? I have it on and every 30 seconds or so the screen will start to dim and I will have to either click on it or if it fades all the way out hit my power button and put in my password again.

Is there any way to prevent this?

Sleep depriver

Sleep depriver worked for me on iPad 3 iOS 5.1

id say your best bet is just to toggle off the autolock.
sbsetting would be the quickest and easiest way to manage this if you think you'd be doing it alot
