Video is very small...why?

When I text a short video ( about a minute or so) to someone they say it's so small they can't watch it. Why is this?
I'm texting from one iPhone to another.

I don't know, but it would help to know what app you're using to record the short video as well as the app you're using to send it to others to watch?
