Updated my iPad Air to iOS 8.4 but my iPad has frozen with a black screen How do fix it

I have tried the factory reboot and other suggested fixes including connecting the iPad to iTunes 12 on my iMac but to no avail. Look forward to some help thanks from Australia

You'll need to put the device into recovery mode to restore the OS. Make sure your battery has a decent charge before installing the update:
