I liked Ipad air the most and I am going to buy it but I have a question in mind that need some clarity that can I work MS office the same as I am working in my Laptop with Ipad air.Pl clarify

Or just use the free Apple iWork apps and Save As the office format.

To answer your question, NO, there is not version of MS Office for the iOS platform. As Karen suggests, the best solution would be to use the free Apple iWork suite and save the documents in the respective office format (Word, Excel, etc).
