Should be there a dedicated social network for games publishers?

We can observer a massive so called SPAM on forums. Indie developers needs to exposure theirs products.
There should be a way to reply to such huge need.
Maybe there should be a community portal where every developer can put a post about his app (post is accepted only if it points to the unique game in one of the mobile stores and if the email account matches with this one in a store account), then it is farther processed by a community (developers community) which comments it, puts in proper categories (by tags) and gives rating.

I can't believe that TA is the biggest and the only major site. They can't have monopoly for that. There must be a place for wider community.

I think Google+ is already becoming the social network for tech people and everyone in-between. Game publishers use that and 1up...
