Question to devs about Windows 10

Hi everyone,
I have crossed Mobile Nations' troubled waters over from Windows Central, to come and ask all you ios devs one small question:
Has Microsoft's recent involvement in the Universal Windows Platform (same code runs on any device), the release of the tools for porting ios objective C to windows, and the potential of one billion customers by 2018, made you reconsider your involvement with the platform? If so, what amount of effort are you willing to engage into adapting the UI to fit Microsoft 's design guidelines? And if not, what is stopping you?

I'm not currently a developer, but I have lost all interest in Windows. Just my two cents.

Good question. Personally I am not currently interested in the tools for automatic port. I am considering involvement in the platform because of the new more open minded philosophy of the company (observed in the post-Ballmer epoch). And I will use the native SDK.
