Question about charging on a Dock Cradle

I recently got a Charger & Hotsync Dock Cradle Amazon.com: Fosmon? Black Dock Cradle Hot Sync & Charge Charger For Apple iPhone 3G / 3GS + USB Adapter Cable: Electronics

I leave it on at night anywhere from about 7p till about 7a depending on the night. I was wondering if this is OK on the battery/iPhone? Also when I get calls/text or check email I take it out and put it back on thru the night, would this hurt the mattery/iPhone?

I wouldnt leave it on all that time , this will wear out the battery , just pop it on and charge it then take it off . Continualy charging it like that gets the battery hot and that decreses life . Also make sure you run the battery dead at least once a month .

But the charger should turn off when the iPhone is fully charged?

If I plug phone in it doesnt swicth off of charge , it still keeps the lightening bolt in the corner . But maybe , but I wouldnt risk it .

Even after it's 100% fully charged? That sounds a bit wrong.
