Just picked up a defender for my iPad.... Absolutely in love with it. I started with one of those folio smart cases but they're just not for me. This is much easier to hold onto and feels so much safer when carrying my iPad around. The colors are perfect! Hoping this lasts a long time. As people have mentioned, the charging port and speakers ARE fairly recessed, but I don't have any trouble using my aftermarket charger or hearing Netflix videos. The stand on the other part of the case is incredibly convenient, especially on long Amazon binges. It is a nice case and provides great protection but because of the weight I rarely use mine on my Air 2 - I only put it on when I'm taking it somewhere where I feel the added protection is warranted. It's also difficult to put on and remove, meaning that I use it less often than I might.

I thought of this (only using when needed), but once I put it on and felt it out I actually prefer just to use it full time.
