I’m having to write a statement for work. Can’t somebody add to your notes on the Notes app when you hit share and text it to someone. I just wanted to make sure because I’ve never really done this. is this how you do it after you hit share note then the other person can add to it?

I think they can. I remember I shared a note with someone and saw there was an option for them to view only or view and edit

I just checked; this is right, it is one of the Share options.

Another option if you are worried about this is to take a screenshot of the note and share the photo/screenshot. That way your original remains as you typed it and you can show in case somebody alters the screenshot.

You can all edit the note but there are more powerful notes apps and better tools or platforms if collaboration is a big deal in your work flow and routines. OneNote for example displays who did an edit in ways people seem to catch.
