Not charging ipad air

My ipad air 16gb 4G LTE recently shut off when it ran out of power. I left it charging for 4 hours, but when I came back the dead battery icon showed when I touched the home button. When I unplug it it shows the indicator telling me to plug it into a charger. I switched power bricks and cables and left it alone for an hour. Same thing when I came back. I tested both cables and bricks with another ipad and they both worked. I checked the port on the iPad for debris. Used compressed air and a bristled tooth pick to lightly brush or the port. The iPad is recognizing when the cable is inserted and removed but the battery doesn't seem to be accepting any power. Any advice?

Make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose and possible fix the problem.

It sounds to me like your battery is fried. Take your iPad to an Apple Store or contact Apple Support.

My brother in law had an issue like that with his iPad. Took it to Apple Store and they replaced the iPad.
