My US iPhone say no service in Kelowna, BC. How can I get service?

my US iphone says "no service" in Kelowna, BC

I have a plan that is supposed to cover the US and Canada but here in Kelowna, BC, a large city, it is saying it has No Service.
Can you verify this or tell me how to get service for phone calls at least?

I'd somehow contact your carrier using another phone and ask them.
