My ipod 5's notifications are stuck

I tried searching up how to fix it, i just says restart your phone but my home button is broken and I can't restart it, but I tried holding the off button to but I can't slide to turn off since notifications are blocking it, help me!

The first thing you need to do is the obvious - get the home button fixed!
