When I turn on my Sony mini, I go to bluetooth. Then I tap on bluetooth. The only messages below are "devices" and it keeps spinning--I guess looking for devices but never finds any.

My suggestion would be to do a hard reset. Hold the power and volume down button together until you see the logo. Then release the buttons and wait for it to finish. You can also try turning the devices on and off that you are trying to pair. Hopefully this will solve the problem for you. Thanks!

Looks to me like you have to put the Sony Mini in discoverable mode (also called pairing mode) and have your
iphone look for it again.
