Ok brain trust, help me out here.
I purchased a new iMac 21" about a year ago. Prior to that I had been using a MBP 15" (2008) as my main system. Since I wanted the iMac to be my primary system, I wanted all the data from my MBP on the iMac, but did NOT use the setup wizard. What I did was create a clone of the MBP, installed my applications clean (ensuring I was installing the most recent versions), then manually copied all my data and user library items. All that happened with no problems.
My issue is with Keychain. I opened Keychain and imported the keychain from the MBP easily enough, but now everytime I reboot, I need to enter the password for that keychain.
Is there not a way to fully incorporate the previous keychain with the current one so I do not have to "authorize" its use every time?
Thanks

It shouldn't be anything more than just turning on iCloud Keychain on both devices and authorizing the iMac with the iCloud Security Code so that both will update anytime you change/add passwords to either machine.
