mass delete mail on iPhone4s

iMore Question

i keep getting over 100 mails a and get fed up deleting them 1 by 1. is there any way of purging them?

As far as I know there's no way to delete multiple emails on any iOS.
However if you're jaibroken, there's a very nice tweak called allmail which brings up some extra options on your email account, one of these options is delete all.
I've tried this today on iOS 7.0.4 and it works ok.

Sure there is. I have Gmail and iCloud and all you have to do is hit the edit button top right and tap each email until you see a small blue dot to the left of it. On the bottom right just hit the trash can ansd they will either go into the Archive folder if you have that set up or directly to the trash folder where you repeat the first step and they all go at once.
