I have an iPad Pro 2020 running 14.4.2. I wanted to make a short slideshow style movie with audio commentary using still photos. The problem is, my iPad camera takes stills in what I think is 4.3 aspect ratio, which when imported into iMovie get automatically turned into widescreen. This means I lose parts of the originals.
I would like to be able to ether change the settings of the camera to take widescreen photos, or else change the settings of iMovie to enable it to use 4.3 aspect ratio photos unchanged.
Is it possible to do either of these? I don’t seem to be able to find any option to change the default settings.
