I have a question about custom icons. When I have installed them in the past and on the Messages icon. For example, it’s about a less than a second delay as it takes you into the Apple Messages app and then it takes you right into the custom Messages app, if you know what I mean I don’t know how to say it. I recently looked at the app ThemeKit and it mentions the delay, so is what I’m talking about the reduced motion setting with accessibility?

I don't use the custom icons. But it sounds like that's what it refers to. Try it and see.
