ITouch charging: too many ads from ITunes

When I charge my ITouch,I am BOMBARDED with messages and advertisments (for example to use IPhoto as my primary application for photos). It has been non stop at least every five minutes. Any ideas on how to get ITunes to stop sending ANY messages when I charge my Touch?

You can turn those notifications off in each app. It wants to check that you have the default apps set as the preferred apps.
