iPod Touch 5 Battery Drain

I have recently started noticing my iPod touch 5th generations battery starting to drain. I have the iPod on full/nearly full battery and I leave it over night. When I come back in the morning it's completely dead. Is this anything to do with ios9 or is it my iPod and if so what can I do to prevent it. Any help is much appreciated, thanks

I too face that issue it's nothing to do with the iOS 9 andykay47.
Just let it drain and charge it to 100 % again, you will get the decent backup again
