My mom iPhone XR blue that’s was purchased at the beginning of this month on the iPhone upgrade program the unit has one speck of dust in the lens.

Does it affect the ip67 rating ?

No it doesn’t affect the photos and I don’t want to replace it.

When I return the phone when the next upgrade is available apple won’t charge me correct for the dust in lens ?

You won’t be charged anything. Apple won’t even see the speck of dust.

And it doesn’t affect the ip67 rating at all.
