iPhone on other companies

I'm new here to this forum, but I have a question and just wanted some feedback or your opinion, beit negative or positive. I've posted this in another forums. I'm not saying this is going to happen or spreading rumors, far from it...

What do you guys/girls think of the iPhone being in other companies(Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc...)...? Do you think it would be a good thing or bad? Do you think it would allow others to improve on the features of the phone? Do you think it will allow AT&T to stop trying to compete with cells phones and improve on their signals to compete with Verizon or is this phone fine right where it is?

Whats your thoughts on it? Thanks for any response...

It won't change what/how AT&T does anything. What it would do is bring down the networks of the other carriers and perhaps free up some use on AT&T.

I wouldn't mind that at all. Atleast AT&T would/could review their service issues, by improving them...maybe.
