iPhone 6 screen freezing when opening apps

So recently my screen has been freezing (becomes unresponsive to the touch) for about 30 seconds or longer when opening apps. I updated the OS to the most recent 8.1.3 and that did not help. My wifes phone is doing the same thing. Is anyone having the same issues?

What model phone are you using? Have yo tried a wipe and restore via iTunes?

Its a 64g iP6. I have not tried to wipe and restore although I think Im heading in that direction. I think something is definitely wrong with it. I just checked my storage and I have 38.7 gigs used? I have the same about of programs and maybe 500 more pictures on this as my old iP5 that was a 16g. I have no idea what could possibly be using 38 gigs of storage....

It's the (other storage) that is eating up all your memeory, you need to clean up your cache.

You will have to erase and restore from either a backup or set it up as new. That will free up a lot of "other" storage.

How would i know how much is in ''other'' storage? And how much should it reach before i do a new setup restore?

To see how much "Other" storage you have, you would need to plug it into a computer and open iTunes. There really isn't a set amount of "Other" storage that you should watch for, but I'd say if it gets over 10 GB it would be a good idea to clear the cache.
