iPhone 6 plus's screen is responding super sluggish

My iPhone 6 plus's screen is responding super sluggish all of a sudden. Didn't drop it, it's not bent, but starting yesterday, it's not responding. Sometimes my touches don't respond, other times a huge lag. I don't have the typical grey bar up top indicative of touch disease. Unfortunately, I'm out of warranty. I am from Hawaii and looking for solution of this issue. Few suggested me to visit stores like TCAWireless and few others as I am out of warranty. Is there any other solution? Please help.

Try a backup and reset

First try a factory reset and set it up as nww.

If it still does it, it’s a hardware issue. My 6 Plus did that.

Perform a hard reset first.

If that does not resolve the issue then perform an encrypted backup, factory reset, and reinstall from encrypted backup.

If you're still having the issue, factory reset and test for a day or so without reinstalling from your backup. If the issue is still there, then it's more than likely a hardware problem.

This happened to my daughters iPhone 6 Plus, so we took it to Apple Store and they said it was a known problem for the 6 plus so we were able to up grade it to the 6sPlus for just $149.
