iPhone 5 Facetime Issue, Updated to 6.1.2

Hey everyone I am new here. I made a FaceTime call to one of my friends in my contact list and they did not pick up. A few minutes later I got a text message from a number unrecognized by my phone asking "who is this"? The stranger went on to tell me that I made a FaceTime call to his phone, which I did not, and on my recents section in phone it does not show that I did. Today I updated my iPhone 5 to 6.1.2. Perhaps this had something to do with it? I would like to know some possible reasons for why this happened. Thanks guys!

I think you interpreted his issue backwards. If he had multiple, it's likely the other person would ask who he was. However, when they reply their contact would still show up and they wouldn't be a "stranger."

Either way, didn't apple list their reasons for the upgrade somewhere? Exchange issues and lock screen bypass?

Do you see it in your Settings?
