How will the iPad Air 2 be charged? Will Apple keep the Lighting connector or use a hybrid Lighting and MagSafe 2? What about a MagSafe 3 connector? Or maybe something new?

There's no indication Apple is moving away from lightning connectors on any future mobile devices.

Lightning, since it was just introduced in 2012, there's really no reason for them to change again.
